BAO Notice to the Consumer

On Jan. 10, 2020, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) Registrar of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002, issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke and an Order to Suspend:

– The Funeral Establishment Operator – Class 1 licences of The Baldock Funeral Home Inc. and South Coast Funeral and Cremation Alternatives Inc.; and,
– The Funeral Director – Class 1 licence of Paul L. Taylor.
If you or someone you know has prepaid for funeral services and supplies with Mr. Taylor or these funeral establishments, and have not already been contacted by the BAO, please contact us at 416-817-3561 or compliance@thebao.ca.
