Hamza Majid

Prior to joining the BAO, Hamza spent 10 years working for Dun & Bradstreet, where he was leading operations of the Risk Management Solutions division. He was involved in external consultancy including due diligence, credit risk, compliance and regulation with large corporations and government institutions. Hamza has obtained an extensive experience with audits, anti-money laundering consultancy, process optimization and implementing operational improvements. He has strong people management experience including training and mentoring, project management and client engagement. He was known for fostering positive cultural changes within his organization. Hamza has obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University. He also holds professional designations with: Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA – Canada); Certified General Accountant (CGA – Ontario); Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA – UK); and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt holder. Outside of work Hamza enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.
