Jay Blair

Jay Blair, Barrister & Solicitor, Notary Public, is general counsel to the BAO.  He received his J.D. from the University of Ottawa after undergraduate studies at Queen’s University in Kingston.
Jay has been an administrative lawyer in the regulatory sector for more than 10 years. Most recently he was a staff lawyer at the Real Estate Council of Ontario, where he conducted prosecutions, provided advice on corporate governance matters, and served as duty counsel to the organization.
Jay has been an active volunteer in the arts sector for almost 20 years and is now the chair of the Toronto Bach Festival Board of Directors.
