This is subject to approval from the Registrar of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO), under the condition that the capital is paid back into the trust fund or account.<\/li><li>Increase minimum care and maintenance fund\/account contribution amounts.&nbsp;<strong>Please see the table for additional information,<\/strong>&nbsp;in:<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/CemeteryCareMaintenanceFund_AccountContributionAmountIncreases_effectiveJan1_2022EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">English<\/a>; or&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/CemeteryCareMaintenanceFund_AccountContributionAmountIncreases_effectiveJan1_2022FR.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">French<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Require the Minister to review the prescribed care and maintenance fund\/account contribution amounts every five years.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Licence display requirements<\/strong><br><br>The changes, which come into force on&nbsp;July 1, 2021, will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Remove the requirement that&nbsp;<strong><u>cemetery, crematorium, funeral establishment<\/u><\/strong>, and<strong>&nbsp;<u>transfer service operators<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;(bereavement service operators) display their licence or a copy of it near the main entrance of their establishment.<\/li><li>Require that&nbsp;<strong><u>every bereavement service operator<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;who maintains or makes use of a website to promote, or to enter contracts for, the sale or provision of a licensed supply or service to make available in a clearly visible place on that website their licence number and a description of their type of licence.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Price list and BAO Consumer Information Guide &nbsp;<\/strong><br><br>The changes, which come into force on July 1, 2021, will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Require that&nbsp;<strong><u>every bereavement service operator<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;who maintains or makes use of a website to promote, or to enter contracts for, the sale or provision of a licensed supply or service to make available in a clearly visible place on that website:<ul><li>A free, printable electronic version of the operator\u2019s price list; and<\/li><li>A link to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/for-consumers\/consumer-information-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Consumer Information Guide<\/a>&nbsp;prepared by the Registrar of the BAO.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find the regulatory changes on the e-Laws website, at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/laws\/regulation\/r21258\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">O.
