December 17, 2021 <\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n MEMORANDUM TO: All Licensed Funeral Establishments and FROM: Dirk Huyer, MD, Chief Coroner for Ontario<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n RE: Body Transportation Services Request for Responses (RFR) Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As communicated in my November 18, 2021 memo, a Request for Responses (RFR<\/strong>) for the provision of body transportation services performed on behalf of the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC\/OFPS) is currently available on the Ontario Tenders Portal (OTP) eTendering System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In order to download the RFR and its associated attachments, and submit your response to the RFR, you must register for and log into the OTP eTendering System<\/strong>, then express interest in the Body Transportation Services RFR. The OTP eTendering System is located at the following link:<\/p>\n\n\n\n You may locate the Body Transportation Services RFR as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Project Title: Body Transportation Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Project Code: tender_15871<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To assist you, I am attaching three resource documents shared earlier in the process: two OTP user guides and the Information Session presentation. These documents include a series of step-by-step instructions to assist with registering and navigating the OTP eTendering System; locating and expressing interest in the RFR on the OTP eTendering System; and creating and submitting your response through the OTP eTendering System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To further assist you, I am also providing the addenda which have been posted on the OTP eTendering System to date, as these include, among other items, answers to questions asked during the two information sessions held earlier in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These addenda are effective as of the date listed within them and may be subject to amendments throughout this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Addenda are listed on the OTP eTendering System and can be found by selecting the Body Transportation Services RFR, \u201cBuyer Attachments\u201d tab, then select \u201cRFB Addenda\u201d (instructions in the documents attached).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any further addenda issued will only be posted on the OTP eTendering System under \u201cBuyer Attachments\u201d.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The RFR deadlines have been extended to allow for additional questions and time for you to prepare and submit your response:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amended RFR Timetable<\/strong>
