{"id":4651,"date":"2022-03-17T13:15:36","date_gmt":"2022-03-17T17:15:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/?p=4651"},"modified":"2022-03-17T13:15:37","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T17:15:37","slug":"registrars-directive-mask-mandate-ends-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/stage\/registrars-directive-mask-mandate-ends-monday\/","title":{"rendered":"Registrar\u2019s Directive: Mask mandate ends Monday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Effective March 21, 2022<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mask-wearing requirement ends on Monday, March 21, for all bereavement sector operations, in alignment with the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The provincial government\u2019s mask mandate is to be lifted starting Monday for many settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Operators of bereavement sector establishments may, at their discretion, choose to continue to require mask wearing in their facilities, and we would encourage them to do so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Logging of staff and visitors with COVID-19 is also no longer required. This directive is in addition to the changes announced in the previous registrar\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/registrars-directive-restrictions-on-capacity-limits-are-lifted-plus-other-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">directive of Feb. 28, 2022<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thank all bereavement sector licensees for their diligence throughout the last two years of the pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>-Carey Smith, CEO &amp; Registrar, BAO<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Effective March 21, 2022 The mask-wearing requirement ends on Monday, March 21, for all bereavement sector operations, in alignment with the province.
