{"id":4676,"date":"2022-03-23T18:55:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-23T22:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/?p=4676"},"modified":"2022-03-25T09:57:06","modified_gmt":"2022-03-25T13:57:06","slug":"reminder-to-cemetery-operators-your-report-on-care-maintenance-fund-account-is-due-by-march-31st","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/stage\/reminder-to-cemetery-operators-your-report-on-care-maintenance-fund-account-is-due-by-march-31st\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder to Cemetery Operators: Your Report on Care &#038; Maintenance Fund\/Account is due by March 31st"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>March 23, 2022&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our records show that your fiscal year end is December 31<sup>st<\/sup>, and you have not yet submitted your Report on Care &amp; Maintenance Fund\/Account (Form 2), which is due within three (3) months of your fiscal year end, i.e.,&nbsp;<strong>March 31, 2022<\/strong>&nbsp;(see exception below).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Exception<\/strong>: If your total Care &amp; Maintenance (C&amp;M) funds exceed $500,000, or if you operate a funeral establishment on one or more of your cemetery properties, you are required to submit an audit report on your C&amp;M funds in addition to your Form 2 report(s) within six (6) months of your fiscal year end.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You may submit your Form 2 via our online licensee portal as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to our website at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thebao.us8.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e76b9d150bf1f80bbba039174&amp;id=d8eff15670&amp;e=80de6bdf3a\"><strong>thebao.ca<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li><li>In the top right corner of our main page, click on \u201cLicensee Login\u201d.<\/li><li>If you are a First Time Visitor, click on the link provided to obtain a password.
