(BCC)<\/strong>, 250 Bayview Drive, Unit 10, Barrie, ON L4N 4Y8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the closure of the centre, the BAO has been facilitating the transfer of prepaid funds in BCC\u2019s possession to other service providers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are about 20 contract-holders who have not responded the BAO\u2019s letters and it is important that we reach them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contact the BAO <u>if<\/u>:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You or someone you know has prepaid for services and supplies with BCC and haven\u2019t already spoken with the BAO about this;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>BCC was storing cremated remains on your behalf.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To contact us, please email BAO inspector <a href=\"mailto:Kate.Dafoe@thebao.ca\">Kate.Dafoe@thebao.ca<\/a> or call her at 647-952-4170.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About The BAO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) is a government delegated authority administering provisions of the <em>Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 (FBCSA)<\/em> on behalf of the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery. Responsible for protection of the public interest, the BAO regulates and supports licensed: funeral establishment operators, directors and preplanners; cemetery, crematorium and alternative disposition operators; transfer service operators; and bereavement sector sales representatives across Ontario.
