This licence revocation has been carried out. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On September 29, 2017, the Registrar,\u00a0Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002\u00a0<\/em>(FBCSA<\/em>) issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke and an Order to immediately suspend the Transfer Service Operator \u2013 Class 1 licence of\u00a0Niagara Funeral Alternatives Inc<\/strong>.<\/a> of Ridgeway, Ontario.\u00a0 The immediate suspension is believed to be in the public interest.\u00a0 The Notice of Proposal was deemed necessary as the past conduct of the licensee and interested persons are believed to be inconsistent with the legal criteria for continued licensure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All operators licensed under the FBCSA <\/em>are reminded that they have a positive obligation to ensure compliance with the governing law and regulations.  As such, no operator is to engage Niagara Funeral Alternatives Inc. or its representatives in any activities for which a licence is required while that licence is under suspension.  Similarly, no operator is to signify that Niagara Funeral Alternatives Inc. or its representatives can be engaged in any activities for which a licence is required while that licence is under suspension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
