Sample Cemetery Contract"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bereavement Authority of Ontario is pleased to announce that a sample cemetery contract template is now available for use by Ontario cemetery operators!<br>\u00a0<br>This contract template was designed primarily for smaller cemetery operators that do not accept preneed (prepaid) services and supplies.\u00a0 (Interment rights are not a preneed service or supply.)\u00a0 We encourage cemetery operators to use this template, to ensure that their contract meets all regulatory requirements under the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/laws\/statute\/02f33\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002<\/a><\/em>.<br>\u00a0<br>Questions about cemetery contracts can be directed to the BAO\u2019s Compliance department at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:compliance@thebao.ca\">compliance@thebao.ca<\/a>\u00a0or by calling 647-483-2645 or 1-844-493-6356.<br>\u00a0<br>Click on the following link to access our sample contract template and other cemetery sample documents:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thebao.ca\/for-professionals\/cemeteries-crematoriums\/forms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/thebao.ca\/for-professionals\/cemeteries-crematoriums\/forms\/<\/a>.
