Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. business licence suspended

The operator licence of Passfield Mortuary Services Inc., in St. Catharines, has been revoked.
The Bereavement Authority of Ontario offers its condolences to the family members on their recent loss.
On October 21, 2024, the Registrar licensed Wilson Burial and Cremation Inc. as a Transfer Service Operator – Class 1, at the same address as Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. Wilson Burial and Cremation Inc. is owned and operated by Sarah Wilson.

A St. Catharines transfer service operator has had its licence suspended by the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 (FBCSA).

Passfield Mortuary Services Inc., 341 Linwell Road St. Catharines, is not operating its business.

The Registrar has issued a Suspension Order and Notice of Proposal to Revoke the licence of Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. The manager is in the process of applying for a new licence under the FBCSA to minimize the impact to bereavement consumers in the St. Catharines area.
