Notice to the Profession: New BAO poster on COVID restrictions

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) has revised its latest COVID-19 safety poster for use at funeral establishments.
The new poster displays the BAO Registrar’s Directive chart of restrictions tied to the Government of Ontario’s new framework, both announced on Nov. 20. The restrictions your funeral establishment must follow will depend on which colour zone your local health unit area is operating under.
The revised BAO poster, in A3 size, is available on the BAO’s COVID-19 poster webpage. The new poster is currently being translated into French and will be available soon on the poster webpage.
Posters currently available on the webpage include:
- Chart of COVID-19 safety restrictions (Nov. 23, 2020)
- Everyone must wear a mask. (or face covering)
- Everyone must be at least 2 metres apart.
- Clean your hands.
